Census 2010

The federal decenniel census will take place in 2010.  As a City, the Census is an important tool for learning about our population.  In addition, Census data is used to distribute several million dollars in federal government funds annually to communities, counties and states.  Participation by every member of the community is critical to the success of this effort.

The purpose of this webpage is to help Portsmouth residents learn about the 2010 census and to answer questions.  Much more information about the Census can be found at 2010.census.gov.
