Albanese Brothers Inc. (ABI) crews will be conducting exploratory excavations on Jewell Court and Brewery Lane to identify existing utilities. Following exploratory work, ABI will begin installing a new water main on Jewell Court. During this time Jewell Court will be closed to through traffic, so please be aware of DETOUR traffic signage. Work in this area will be ongoing during daytime hours. (See map below for work zone areas).
Project Description: This project is part of the City’s on-going Combined Sewer Overflow-Long Term Control Plan. The project will include water, sewer, drainage and minor streetscape upgrades on Bartlett Street, Islington Street, and Jewell Court up through the old Department of Public Works site. This project, required as part of an EPA Administrative Order, is part of The City’s comprehensive efforts to correct problem areas in the oldest sections of the City’s sewer system.
