Albanese Brothers, Inc. (ABI) will install sewer and drainage components on Jewell Court Monday through Friday. Work will include installation of piping, and subsequent sanitary and drainage structures. ABI will need to remove large quantities of ledge for this work, and will have to hammer or blast to remove it. Construction hours are generally 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Jewell Court will be closed to through traffic during work hours. Normal traffic patterns will resume in the evening. Full access to businesses will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
Vehicle operators should be alert when approaching areas where workers and equipment are in the roadway. Please follow DETOUR signs, or seek alternate routes to minimize inconvenience to and from travel destinations. (See map below for work zone areas).

Project Description: This project is part of the City’s on-going Combined Sewer Overflow-Long Term Control Plan. The project will include water, sewer, drainage and minor streetscape upgrades on Bartlett Street, Islington Street, and Jewell Court up through the old Department of Public Works site. This project, required as part of an EPA Administrative Order, is part of The City’s comprehensive efforts to correct problem areas in the oldest sections of the City’s sewer system.
